Female Orgasmic Disorder (FOD)

Female orgasmic disorder (FOD) is the persistent or recurrent inability of a woman to have an orgasm (climax or sexual release), after adequate sexual arousal and sexual stimulation. The female orgasmic disorder is characterized by:

(a) remarkable delay, scarcity or absence of orgasm (vaginal, clitoral or mixed)

b) remarkable reduced intensity of the sense of orgasm

The female orgasmic disorder occurs either from the beginning of the woman's sexual life (lifelong-primary) or after a period of normal functioning (acquired-secondary).
